Now that winter break has begun, I haven’t got a whole lot to do. The other night I saw Shrek the Third with my family, it was real funny. Tonight we are going to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3, which is 169 minutes long. Me and my brother shoveled the driveway and sidewalks today since it was snowing all day. It looked like we received around 2½ inches.

Our family went to the mall yesterday and bought gifts to give each other. We are all really excited from Christmas, which is only one day away (if you don’t count today)! Unfortunately, we do not have anybody coming over to celebrate Christmas day with. We do, however, have friends from our church coming over on Christmas eve for fondue. I am really looking forward to fondue, since we only get to have it once a year. My favorite part is dipping apples and such in the chocolate.

I had a great time skiing over the weekend at powder ridge. It was pretty close to what I expected, not very big. There were a total of 6 runs and none of them were difficult. For my first time I tried the terrain park. Since that was the first time getting on the slopes so far this winter, I am real excited for more. I am trying to learn how to ski backwards, so that will be my goal this season.

Only Eight days until Christmas! I am so happy to visit with my relatives again and exchange gifts. Our family has yet to buy Christmas presents for each other. We are planning on going out this week though. Even though it seems like it just became the year 2007, I am anxious for the new year.

This weekend i’m going skiing! I am going to power ridge, which is a ski hill in Minnesota. It will be my first time going to this location, so I will be sure to report on how it was. Also, the website is now 3 months old! That is pretty cool because now more people are leaving comments, but most of them as spam.

Also, I found an eleven year old computer game called “creatures”. You might think that I am a nerdy computer game player, but I am not. I have to leave on go skiing now, but I will tell you more about creatures and how the skiing was. Happy Holidays.

Three days ago it snowed all day long. We got an incredible 5 inches! Fortunately, the temperature during the past couple of days has been in the low 20s, so the snow is staying. Three days later, today, it snowed for about 8 hours! That adds around 3 more inches to our total, making a good 8 inches! Now I’m just hoping it doesn’t melt until the weekend so we can play in it. When I look out side, it looks like a thick, white blanket covering everything. Until some kids walk through it or a dog pees on it, that is.

The city in which we live in has made a new rule. Everyone has to shovel their sidewalks within 24 hours of the snow falling, or else the city people will shovel the paths for you and give you a fine! I know a couple of people who are getting annoyed with this rule, but i suppose it is okay. It can get bothersome, though, after finish shoveling and a snowplow pushes the snow from the road right onto your newly shoveled sidewalk.

Also, Christmas is coming! We all better start acting good for Santa, or rather, act good for presents. Beautiful lights are starting to pop up around the neighborhood. We still have to put our lights on the house, too.
